Shibboleth Instructions and Enabled Resources

The following resources have implemented the Shibboleth service:

• Elsevier (Scopus, ScienceDirect)
• CSA Illumina (ASFA, GeoRef)
• JSTOR

Use the following general guidelines to login:

• look for the athens/institution subscriber link (if not obvious, follow the login link)
• you may first have to select US Higher Education
• scroll through the list of institutions for Moss Landing Marine Labs
• click on the Moss Landing Marine Labs link
• login using your MLML username and password (what you use for Clean Access)

The Library now has a bookdrop located right outside the double doors — James, as always, built exactly what I needed and in less than a week. I hope this makes it easier for everyone to return borrowed material.

Shibboleth access to ASFA and GeoRef

Its official. You can now access these two databases using Shib.

Testing CSA

This week and next the CO is testing Shibboleth with CSA — that means ASFA and GeoRef will soon be Shib-enabled.

Instructions for using Shibboleth (MLML only)

Remember for now this only works with ScienceDirect.

• look for the athens/institution subscriber link
• use the pull-down menu to select US Higher Education
• click on the Moss Landing Marine Labs link
• login using your ldap account (what you use for Clean Access)
